Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions): Ph.D / FPM or equivalent in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of CGPA/ Grades).
In addition, for:
Professor: Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in Prestigious institutes.
Sona School of Management also invites Visiting Professors/Fellows from Foreign Universities, who have good experience in research and teaching.
Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Assistant Professor: Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience (tenure during full time / part time Ph.D is not considered as experience). However, if the candidate has Ph.D from top-tiered business schools the experience is considered.
Expectation from selected candidates
Selected candidates are expected to teach MBA graduates and Engineering graduates and involve in research work to publish at top tiered academic journals (SCOPUS Indexed). In addition, they are expected to take care of academic administration as per the norms of the institute from time to time.
Stages in the recruitment process
The recruitment committee will take 30 days to complete the recruitment process from the date of receiving the applications.
