Sona School of Management welcomed aspiring MBA graduates (2016 – 18 batch) on 29th August 2016. To inculcate different kind of skill sets right from the day one, SSOM organized orientation program. The orientation program covered various aspects of MBA program as well as it helped in building network among the graduates.
First day of the program started with Ice breaking session, campus trip and a movie show. This day aimed to create healthy network, understanding concepts of management from movie, and getting to know things about the campus.
Second day the graduates were educated on health management, teaching methods, case analysis and CEO talk. Third day focused on understanding about markets, employability skills, societal values and personal grooming. Fourth day concentrated mainly on introducing finance, goal setting, team management and building team spirit through sports. The last day of the program was fun filled with an out bound activity.
Stalwarts from industry delivered the lectured to the students during the five days program. As a first talk, Mr.P.Vimalan, CII Chairman shared his entrepreneurial journey to the newcomers. Next day, Mr.Francis Gama, Toast Masters Club – Bangalore, taught the graduates on the importance of personal grooming. Another session on the same day was enlightened with an enchanting talk on the topic “Exposure” by Ms. Meena Sethu, Founder and Correspondent of Golden Gates School, Salem. At last, the graduates were given an awakening on “Goal Setting” by Mr. Sabarish Mohankumar, Joint Managing Director, East West Pharma Private Limited.
