The Program

MBA at SONA is a two year Full Time Program affiliated to Anna University approved by AICTE, New Delhi and also accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi). The program follows trimester pattern. The first year consists of foundation courses and an organisational study. The second year consists of core, elective courses and a CAPSTONE project.

Program Objectives

The program is designed to hone abilities and skills among the students’ manager to lead and manage various organisations, both public and private sectors. In order to achieve this goal the program envisages following broad objectives

  • Graduates should be able to apply management theory and practice in real-time business situations.
  • Graduates aspiring self-employment should be able to start their own business ventures to demonstrate their entrepreneurial competency.
  • Graduates with academic flair should be able to excel in higher studies through research and / or involve in teaching and consultancy.
  • Graduates as a corporate citizen should be able to demonstrate ethics and professionalism contributing to the community by and large.
